Everything on this website is general information, not advice. Prices in our cost guides are indicative ranges for typical Melbourne jobs — every job is different, and we confirm pricing in a written quote after seeing the work. Technical articles describe common electrical issues and how we approach them; they are not instructions to do the work yourself.

In Victoria, electrical work must be carried out by a licensed electrician. Please don't attempt your own — it's illegal, and it's dangerous.

Enquiries and quotes

Submitting an enquiry or callback request doesn't create a contract or an obligation on either side — it starts a conversation. We aim to reply within the times stated on the site, but those response times are goals, not guarantees.

Electrical work is quoted in writing before it starts and performed under that written quote. Electrical installation work is certified with a Certificate of Electrical Safety (COES) lodged with Energy Safe Victoria.

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, images, graphics and logos, is the property of Millar Electrics Pty Ltd and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use; any other use needs our written permission first.
