This privacy policy deals with the protection of your privacy while you use our website located at www.millarelectrics.com.au, owned and operated by Millar Electrics Pty Ltd.

We are committed to the protection of your privacy. This policy contains important information about:

We collect the following personal information through our contact form:

• Phone number
• Email address (optional)
• Enquiry type and details

How we use your information

We use your personal information to respond to your enquiry and provide electrical services, and as described under Analytics and Advertising measurement below. We do not sell or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers listed in this policy, who handle it on our behalf.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to monitor site performance and understand how the site is used — which pages are visited and which buttons and forms get used. It does not use tracking cookies, and we don't use analytics data for advertising.

Advertising measurement

If you arrived through a Google ad, we report enquiries and phone-number taps back to Google Ads as conversions, so we can tell which ads earn their keep. When you submit an enquiry, Google also receives a hashed (scrambled) copy of your email address or phone number to match the enquiry to the ad click. That's the extent of it — we don't share your information with any other advertiser or ad network.

Data retention

We retain your personal information for up to 5 years from the date of collection, after which it is securely deleted.

Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies to ensure the proper functioning of the site. If you arrived through a Google ad, Google Ads may set a first-party cookie so an enquiry can be matched to the ad click (see Advertising measurement). Beyond that we don't use cookies for tracking.

Third-party data

Our address-lookup field uses Vicmap Address and Vicmap Planning data, published by the State of Victoria under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) licence. Service providers and sub-processors

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the business and this website. Each is engaged under a data processing arrangement, receives personal information only as needed to do its job, and only under terms that require them to protect it at least as strictly as we do:

• simPRO — job management: quotes, scheduling, invoicing, and job history.
• Telnyx — phone numbers, calls, SMS, and voicemail handling.
• Cloudflare and Laravel Cloud — website hosting, content delivery, file storage, and email delivery for enquiry notifications.
• Google — ads conversion measurement (see Advertising measurement above).

If a provider changes or a new one starts handling personal information, we update this list.
